Our Services

SpringForth Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services to support your mental health and wellness, including:

Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation

A psychiatric diagnostic evaluation, often referred to as a “psych eval,” is required for all initial visits. This thorough assessment gives us the opportunity to understand your  unique background, medical history, and any previous mental health experiences. The evaluation typically lasts about 60-90 minutes and helps us create a personalized treatment plan that suits your needs.

During the evaluation, we may suggest therapy, medication, or a combination of both, depending on what will best support your well-being. We might also request lab tests, ask for your permission to coordinate with other healthcare providers, or refer you to a specialist or program if needed. If you have recently been hospitalized,  bringing your discharge papers and an updated list of all medications can help us provide the most comprehensive care.

Psychopharmacotherapy (Medication Management)

Psychopharmacotherapy, also called medication management, is the use of medications to treat and manage mental health conditions. Medication is not always required to achieve mental wellness, but when symptoms are significant, it can help stabilize mood, reduce distress, and improve overall functioning. Research shows that combining medication with therapy often leads to the best outcomes.

During your visit, we will discuss whether medication may be helpful for you and answer any questions you have. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed and supported in your treatment choices.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, also known as “talk therapy,” is a treatment approach that helps individuals understand and address concerns that negatively impact their mental, emotional, relational, or physical well-being. It provides a safe, supportive space to explore feelings, identify unhelpful behavioral patterns, and develop effective coping skills. At SpringForth, we use a variety of therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to support clients on their path to healing and personal growth.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is an essential part of every visit. It involves providing important information about mental health conditions, symptoms, treatment options, medications, potential side effects, and available resources. This process helps clients and their families better understand mental health and empowers them to make informed decisions about their care.
